DELTON AG is a strategic management holding company with its head office in Bad Homburg. DELTON's mission is to manage value-creating business activities in several sectors, hence reducing the overall risk within a portfolio of unrelated investments. DELTON does not engage in pure financial investments. The primary focus is on the entrepreneurial perspective guided by the long-term, sustainable development of the selected business segments.

The current portfolio includes pharmaceuticals and logistics. The company is engaged in clearly defined segments of promising high-growth markets. In these markets it has already achieved or is actively targeting a leading market position in the international arena.

With a workforce of around 12,000 employees, the DELTON Group generated sales of about EUR 2.5 billion in fiscal 2008.
