Founded in 1936 by the physician and scientist Dr. Hans-Heinrich Reckeweg in Berlin, Heel is now one of the world's largest producers of homeopathic combination remedies both for human and veterinary medicine. Heel has ten international subsidiaries and its medications are available in more than 50 countries. The headquarter and it`s biggest production and research site are located in Baden-Baden, Germany, where 85% of the medications are produced. In 2008, Heel achieved annual sales of around EUR 180 million with a total workforce of about 1,300 employees.

Heel's pharmaceutical products are based on homotoxicology, a special form of homeopathy. Heel`s vision is to build the bridge between homeopathy and conventional medicine.

The pharmaceuticals division has been held by the DELTON Group since 1977.
